Mat Pilates for Beginners - Session 1

Pilates uses precise movements to build strength, mental
focus and control. Each exercise is rooted in spinal movement
or spinal stabilization. Limbs are used as weights as well as tests of coordination, balance and flexibility. Exercises are done lying on your back, lying on your side, prone, or seated. Please wear comfortable clothing meant for exercise and bring a mat. This class is designed specifically for students new to Pilates practice who are interested in discovering what it is all about.
